From the North: Take Queen Ka'ahumanu Highway south for a total of 7 miles. At Lako Street it becomes Kuakini Hwy. Continue on highway south past lights at Seaview Circle and Kam III Road. Continue about 2 more miles, past Puuloa subdivision road (fire station, Kona Baptist church). Turn at next left on Kalelei St. up hill to Stop sign at Mamalahoa Hwy. Right on Mamalahoa 0.3 mile to Old Poi Factory Road on left side only (there is a yellow "Kona Ohana" sign on right). Left on Old Poi Factory for 0.3 mile to Palekana Road. Left on Palekana 0.2 miles to long rock wall on mauka side with open gate. Address is 78-6915 Palekana Road. My house is the white one on the left. Hawaii Pet Food is the Dog Kitchen beside the house.

From South Kona: Take the Kuakini Highway north. In Honalo, just past Teshima's restaurant and the Daifukugi Mission, take the Old Mamalahoa Highway at the Y branch, where the major highway goes left. Follow it past Keauhou Store and just past Keauhou Nursery, to Old Poi Factory Road on right. You will see a yellow sign on left of road that says "Kona Ohana". Turn right up hill about 0.3 miles to Palekana road, left about 0.2 mile to long stone wall with gate in middle. My number is 78-6915 Palekana Rd. Gate is open.
