I want to help owners to feed their cats and dogs the best possible diets for long-life and well-being. After many encounters with my dogs' allergies, skin problems, and joint disorders, I switched 6 years ago from prepared dog foods to a fresh food diet. A fresh food diet has made a huge difference in my dogs' health and happiness.

Fresh food for dogs mirrors their ancestral diet, the one with which they evolved to be our beloved pets today but that is still essential to their health. The best diet for dogs consists of raw meat and bones, supplemented with shredded fruits and vegetables, raw eggs, yogurt, some brown rice and oatmeal, if you like. Fresh food for cats consists almost entirely of meat, because cats are true carnivores, in the wild and in your home.

Until recently, I prepared all of my dogs' food -- a daunting task with 9 large Labrador retrievers and two Papillons. For 6 years, I added WYSONG supplements to their home-made food, to assure them a well-balanced diet.

This year, I discovered that WYSONG built a special processing plant in Wisconsin to cook pet foods at very low temperature, thereby preserving their full nutritional value. WYSONG is the only pet food company to use low- temperature processing for pet foods. Their foods consist of real meat, more dried than cooked.

When you read the labels on pet foods, you will notice that WYSONG uses only human-grade, USDA-inspected meats, fresh fruits and vegetables ,and enough whole grains to improve the consistency of the foods. Other pet food manufacturers may include meats and meat meals, but look carefully at all the ingredients in the bag. Even if they include good-sounding ingredients, cooking them at high temperatures and extruding them from machines destroys much of their nutritional value.

In late 2007, I introduced WYSONG'S's prepared foods to my bevy of fresh-food eaters. The dogs loved WYSONG foods! Personally, I feed mostly Optimal Performance, because it is 40% protein for well-muscled dogs that get a lot of exercise.

My puppies thrive on Growth, adult dogs on Maintenance, and Senior is designed to provide great nutrition for dogs past the prime. And, of course, my Labs will do anything for Wysong treats, because they are meaty and taste great. I am so sold on this food, I decided to become a distributor, to make WYSONG foods and supplements available to more pets on Hawaii.
